Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating a Coinora account you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, a Nigerian resident, and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate identity information for KYC verification (BVN, NIN, and any documents we request).

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your password and transaction PIN confidential. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Wallet & Custody

Coinora holds Naira balances via licensed banking partners and cryptocurrency balances via third-party custody infrastructure, on your behalf. Cryptocurrency values are volatile and can lose value rapidly — you accept this risk when you buy, sell, or hold crypto through Coinora.

5. Fees

Coinora charges fees on withdrawals, purchases, and sales of crypto, disclosed to you before you confirm each transaction. Fees may change; changes apply to transactions made after the change takes effect.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use Coinora for money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, or any illegal purpose. We screen accounts against sanctions lists and may restrict or close accounts that match.

7. Limitation of Liability

Coinora is not liable for losses caused by market volatility, your own error (e.g. sending crypto to the wrong address or network), or events outside our reasonable control.

8. Termination

We may suspend or close your account for suspected fraud, sanctions matches, or violation of these terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings, once your balances are at zero.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
